What is Array?

Array is a software engineering, design, and fully-integrated technology ecosystem.
21st Century School

Array is first and primarily a technology school. We offer hybrid learning with synchronous and in person options in Cheyenne and Casper, Wyoming. We utilize local team members to teach our course and assist with hands on learning . We also bring in special adjunct professors to create a more well rounded learning experience.

Business Center

Array offers a professional Business Center in our amazing building downtown! Located on the third floor, our spacious individual offices are available for rent by the month or year. Email office@arrayschool.com to learn more.

Education Access

We offer our 18 week Full Stack Web Development course remotely so that we can offer the same experience to students throughout Wyoming. Array is a community of learners, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who inspire, elevate, and grow with one another. We can now achieve this in person and virtually.

Director of Education

Steven Spicher
Steven Spicher has multiple years of experience in both the Education and Information
Technology fields. Relevant past roles include supervising a first-level technical support team
for a Fortune 500 e-commerce website, directing an award-winning non-profit Children’s
Theater, working with local school districts to create and present technology- focused
curriculum, creating and implementing processes to modernize Title Analysis within the
Oil and Gas Industry, and supporting multiple local small businesses with their IT/web
development needs.
Steven joined Array December 2020 after working closely with Array associates as a
project manager for the Wyoming Technology Coronavirus Coalition. Steven’s software
development skills include, but are not limited to: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/
Redux, MongoDB, ExpressJS, NodeJS, Google Firebase, Agile Development, Twitter Bootstrap, NPM/
Yarn, Git, Linux/Unix Administration.
Steven is a full-time dedicated instructor for the Full-stack Web Engineering Course, and also
manages the teaching assistants and industry professional guest lecturers in order to provide a
world class educational experience for Array’s boot camp students.

Alex Yousefi
Lecturer
Dr.  Yousefi ‘s experience includes being a business entrepreneur and more than 15 years in Information Systems Technology as a Computer Network Engineer, Business, and IT Consultant. He has more than 15 years of experience in the educational field as a Dean of Business and Accounting and Director of Network Security and Business departments.   He obtains two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Information Systems. A master's degree in business/HR and a  Ph.D.  in Business Administration/Management Information systems.
Reed Jacobson
Lecturer
Reed has a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors in IT Software. He has owned and operated a programming and marketing business since 2008, earned many professional certificates in various technology arenas, and his non-profit efforts have led him to assist many colleges and universities, Boy Scouts of America, and religious organizations.  He enjoys helping others pursue educational goals, and he has successfully tutored many students in math and programming.
Mark Song
Lecturer
Mark has earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration. He has been working as a software engineer and then DBA, since 1997. He taught Computer Science classes successfully at Central Michigan University, Waubonsee Community College, ITT, Chubb Institute, TekSystems and X-Camp. He is a Microsoft Certified DBA. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling. He has traveled and lived in 63 countries on 6 continents, so far. He loves interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Kevin Kabbes
Lecturer
Kevin has graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. He has been working on data mining since 2019 with recent growing research in the field of Virtual Reality (VR) systems. He has taught & tutored computer science to students of varying ages. He enjoys working with virtual Communities to grow their platforms and expand applicable knowledge from everyday security practices to systems architecture. His greatest joy is seeing how different people solve and approach the same questions, learning new skills through their view of situations.
TJ Zhang
Lecturer
A prolific software engineer, project manager, inventor and author. TJ has a M.S. in Computer Science, and has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. His experiences range from programming to project management involving all phases of the SDLC. He is an inventor in data modeling and machine learning. He is also an author in information system management.



Guodong Wang
Lecturer
Guodong Wang, PhD, Assistant Professor. Dr. Wang has over ten years teaching and research experience in Computer Science. He published over 40 academic papers in prestigious journals and conferences. His research interests include Future Network Architecture and Internet of Things. He has participated in projects which were sponsored by NASA and U.S. Air Force.



Bob Hawley
Lecturer
Bob went to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where he graduated as a distinguished graduate with a BS in Computer Science. He then obtained an MS in Computer Science from UCLA and taught computer science at the Air Force Academy. He has been privileged to work on a number of interesting projects involving satellites, space intelligence and computer based training, and more recently has taught computer science in both on ground and online school settings.

Array is Wyoming's first private accelerated technology and design school. We are building a place where anyone can learn, work, and grow themselves and each other.



We proudly call downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming, our physical home.  Our historic building is at the busy corner of Central Avenue and Lincolnway. We design our curriculum and classroom culture to take any age or experience and transform them into professional web developers. Our team consists of some of the most exceptional local leaders, entrepreneurs, and tech industry veterans. We aim to deliver a world-class experience giving our students and apprentices a new skill set to become great employees in the technology and design industries.
